We welcome contributions who want to support us in our goals and The Heart of Pennsylvania Women’s Barbershop Chorus is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizationand donations to the group are tax-deductable. You can contribute during the local Raise the Region each March or directly by contacting us at president@heartofpa.org.

Community Outreach and Engagement
Our chorus is an active participant in regional events and cultural initiatives. We regularly perform at public festivals, seasonal concerts, and civic ceremonies. Highlights from recent seasons include:
- Lewisburg Arts Festival
- Annual Fall Concert at the Community Theater League in Williamsport
- National Anthem performance at the Williamsport Crosscutters baseball game
We also contribute to educational programming by sharing the barbershop tradition in local schools and organizations—such as a recent outreach visit to the River Valley Nature School in Lewisburg.
Use of Donations/Sponsorship Funds
Maintaining a high-caliber performing chorus involves ongoing costs. Here are a few examples of where your support goes:
- Music costs: $200–$400 per song (sheet music, licensing, arranging, learning tracks)
- Coaching fees: $300–$1,000 per weekend of instruction
- Competition fees: $180–$200 per singer per event
Your sponsorship will help fund:
- Competition registration and member travel support

- Technical and performance enhancements
- Public performances and outreach events
